STUTA SERVICES
Compliance Audit
STUTA conducts scoped reviews of labour-compliance records and processes to help employers understand their current gaps and priorities. We agree the locations, period and subject areas, examine the available evidence and discuss factual observations with your team. The resulting report explains the findings and the actions recommended for follow-up. A separate or included closure review can assess corrective evidence and identify matters still requiring attention.
WHO THIS IS FOR
For employers seeking an independent review of selected labour-compliance records and processes.
How STUTA supports you
Select a service area to explore how we support your team.
Agree the review boundaries
Before the review starts, we agree the entities, locations, period and labour-compliance areas to be examined. Any sampling approach, exclusions and access limitations are recorded so the expected coverage is clear. We also identify the client coordinator and agree how records, clarifications and draft observations will be exchanged.
Request and examine records
We issue a document request suited to the agreed scope and examine the records provided against the review criteria. The assessment notes missing evidence, inconsistent information and matters needing an explanation from the responsible team. Findings remain tied to the actual records reviewed, with unavailable information and review limitations made explicit.
Discuss the observations
We share factual observations with your nominated team and request clarification or additional records where needed. This step helps distinguish a documentation gap, an unresolved question and an issue supported by the evidence available. Relevant responses are considered before the report is finalised, and any remaining uncertainty is recorded.
Prioritise corrective work
We translate the observations into practical recommended actions that your team can evaluate and assign. Priorities are discussed in light of the nature of the finding, available evidence and the organisation’s circumstances. Action owners and proposed completion dates are agreed with the client rather than presented as statutory deadlines without verification.
Report clearly
The report sets out the scope, reviewed records, observations and recommendations in a form your management team can use. It explains the basis of the findings and identifies important information that was not available during the review. A summary of open actions helps connect the audit outcome to the next round of corrective work.
Follow-up review
Where included in the engagement, we review the documents submitted to address the original findings and record the result against each observation. Corrective evidence is assessed within the agreed scope, and unresolved questions are returned for further clarification. The follow-up summary distinguishes closed items from those still awaiting adequate support or action.
